How does it work?

Venturing into new markets with new of existing products or services can be daunting for any organisation but for Start-ups of small businesses it means stretching resources to the max.  You probably feel you can use some support but it might be in different areas at the same time and without knowing for how long. With more than 20 years of professional experience in international sales, marketing, communication and business development we can support your organisation in various areas at the same time. All-round and multi-faceted support, tailor made.

We'll set up a meeting, get acquinted and go through your various plans, challenges and needs. We will prepare a short proposal in which we will focus on two or three areas we can assist your team with, how much time it will take and how much it costs. Our support might be as practical as reviewing your strategic plans,  helping with your marketing and branding campaigns, fine-tuning business and product launches, organising network events or stakeholder meetings, evaluating your dealer network or your conferences and tradeshow attendance, optimising your communication strategy, planning your regional business trips or assisting with developing market strategies but we can also help with research, analyses and business development coaching. It's up to you and your team in what areas you need and want support and for how long.

Who is behind Dutch Lion Consultancy?

Dutch Lion Consultancy was established in 2011 in Singapore by Daniël van Dijk. After attending university in Leiden, Daniêl worked in marketing, communication and business development for companies such as Enviro-Pure, TrojanUV, UPC, Reed Business and CEDAR. Back in Singapore for the second time in 2010, Daniël van Dijk became Executive Director of the Netherlands Water House, a promotion platform for the Dutch Water Sector. Having seen the potential for one on one advisory and support of companies venturing into Singapore and ASEAN for the first time, Daniël seized the opportunity and started his own business development consultancy named Dutch Lion Consultancy. After returning to the Netherlands in 2016 Daniël  established Dutch Lion Consultancy in the Netherlands so that Dutch Start-Ups and SMEs could also experience practical business development services.
